European CME credits have been applied for the 8th IDKD Intensive Course in ASIA and will be announced on the web at www.idkd.org. The European EACCME credit system is recognized by the AMA. The points of IDKD can also be claimed by North American radiologists as CME credits.

IDKD Athens, Greece, September 29 – October 1, 2017
  • The 10th IDKD in Greece "Diseases of the Brain, Head and Neck. Spine" is designated for a maximum of 21 hours of European external CME credits. The credit Points of IDKD can also be claimed by North American radiologist as CME Points.
  • For participants from Germany: the Academy for Continuing Medical Education in Radiology (DRG) designates the 10th IDKD in Greece with 21 CME points, category  B.               
IDKD South America, São Paulo, September 21-24, 2017
  • The 2nd IDKD Intensive Course in SOUTH AMERICA, Brazil "Diseases of the Abdomen and Pelvis" has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for a maximum of 19 European CME credits. The European EACCME credit system is recognized by the AMA. The points of IDKD can also be claimed by North American radiologists as CME credits.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
