The 10th IDKD Intensive Course in Greece will be held on September 29 - October 1, 2017 in Athens. It will provide radiology training on imaging of the important diseases of the Brain, Head and Neck, Spine.
It will again feature 14 radiology workshops and several highlight lectures, however the schedule will be condensed over Friday to Sunday (the course sessions will be spread over 2¾ days)
In addition to the teaching program during the workshops, "hot topics" in radiology, new developments and overviews including interventional techniques will be discussed in highlight lectures.
During workshops, participants study and discuss the case material. Teachers can easily be approached during breaks to individually discuss unsolved problems. Participants are divided in groups of approx. 50 students and attend all the workshops.
The cases for review will be presented as video loop on the classroom VCR projector. IDKD will not provide classroom computers.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop (PC or Mac) to the workshops, as all participants will receive USB sticks containing the IDKD software with all the cases for review during the workshops. 220 V electric outlets will be provided in the classrooms.
The course participants are welcome to download and test the software on their computers prior to the course.
