In 2027 we will offer IDKD Pre-Courses covering various topics. Additional information will be announced
soon.
General Information
The IDKD on Musculoskeletal Diseases will be offered onsite and online in recording (not in real time) for 6 months from the course’s end date.
The Imaging Children, Hybrid Imaging, and Fundamentals courses will be offered in a face-to-face (onsite) format and will not be recorded.
- CME credits: An application has been made to the UEMS/EBR for CME accreditation of these events.
- Note, that the Fundamentals, the Imaging Children, and the Hybrid Imaging courses will take place at the same time.
- Participants of the onsite IDKD course receive a printed copy of the IDKD Book on Musculoskeletal Diseases (2026-2029) at check-in in Davos. Printed copies will not be sent out by post.
The IDKD course online participants and the participants attending only the pre-courses on Saturday, March 21 will be able to read the IDKD Book online as Open Access publication.

Course objectives
- Teach the participants effective approaches in analysing diagnostic imaging challenges
- Allow the participants to recognize key imaging features of various diseases through guided self study
- Teach the participants the most effective imaging examination in various types of settings
- Offer participants to interact with top international experts
Additional information about this course
- Lectures are presented daily by senior experts on "hot topics", new developments or political issues in radiology or associated sciences.
- The IDKD Book written by the Workshop teachers is included in the registration fee.
- Film Reading Panel is a diagnostic competition by selected experts.
- With the current course schedule offering shorter lunch breaks, IDKD will provide lunch to all the participants. All Course lunches are included in the ticket fee. During the online registration process, please select either a meat or vegetarian menu option. When schedule allows, hot meat and vegetarian meals will be served buffet style.
During the IDKD, the participants will attend 20 different radiology workshops which cover the current medical imaging approach to the diagnosis of musculoskeletal diseases. The radiology training will be in groups of approximately 40 participants.

Musculoskeletal Imaging in Children,
Adolescents and Young Adults
In response to request from the participants, IDKD Pediatric Radiology Course will be held again in 2026 with the topic including also the adolescents and young adults. The topic of the course is Musculoskeletal Diseases. The course will be workshops-style offered in a face-to-face (onsite in Davos) format only. Lunch and a coffee break are included in the registration fees.
- The Musculoskeletal Imaging in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults course will take place on Saturday prior to the IDKD in a face-to-face (onsite) format only
- The 56th IDKD registration fees do not include the Saturday courses: if you are attending the IDKD course, please select Saturday courses ticket(s) in addition while registering
- The courses on Saturday are running in parallel. Any pre-course taking place on Saturday, March 21, is available for attendance in combination with the IDKD course.

- The 55th IDKD registration fees do not include the Saturday courses: if you are attending the IDKD course, in addition, please select the Fundamentals course ticket while registering.
- The three courses on Saturday are running in parallel. If you wish to attend two Saturday courses, you would be able to attend the Fundamentals course online and another course of your choice face-to-face (onsite).

Following the requests from our participants, we will hold the Hybrid Imaging Course – Molecular Imaging for Radiologists and Nuclear Medicine Physicians.
